As our name suggests, we only carry out driven movements by our extensive fleet of professional, dedicated, and uniformed delivery drivers. Each of our drivers have undergone extensive training in all aspects of vehicle delivery, from electronic forms for delivery to full vehicle hand-over procedures, communication training and vehicle inspections.
INSURANCE
Simply Driven Logistics are covered by an “A” rated, fully comprehensive motor trade insurance policy covering £100,000 road risk, £15 million public liability, and £15 million employers’ liability. Meaning that your asset is in the safest hands possible during the entirety of its journey. In addition to this every SDL driver installs an insurance approved dash cam before driving away in any vehicle. In order for any vehicle to be driven it must be deemed roadworthy by our drivers and have a valid MOT (if more than 3 years from new) or be booked in locally for one.
BREAKDOWN
In the event of a vehicle breakdown, your vehicle will be attended by the AA and assessed (waiting time charges may apply). If the vehicle cannot be repaired by the roadside, it can be recovered to a destination of your choice (charges may apply).
Vehicle movements booked directly with SDL will be completed using the state-of-the-art SDL vehicle collection and delivery App. Customers will receive an electronic proof of collection and proof of delivery on completion of the move including signatures, names, fuel receipts and any photographic evidence of damage noted at the collection point.
